The parish of Auchinleck has existed since medieval times and there are graves dating as far back as the 1640's . The Victorian Church replaced the Old Church in the 1840's. In the grounds of the church you can see the Boswell Mausoleum which adjoins the Old Church. (No public access to the Mausoleum/Old Church).
