Plaster Family Cemetery is a pre-Republic cemetery , the first burial being a slave in 1835. The Cemetery is on what was originally the Mexican Land Grant of Thomas Pliny Plaster. His mother was the first white burial in the Cemetery in 1844.
The cemetery is now comprised of one acre under the care of Thomas Pliney Plaster Descendants, and is surrounded by private property approximately 3 miles north of Bedias.
