The Vickers cemetery was originally near the cedar log house of Frank Louis Daves Vickers. The land, now owned by Trinston Harris, east of Old Lynn Grove school house. The cemetery is near the south of the home of Trinston Harris, Jr. There are no stone markers, but slabs of concrete, no inscriptions discernable. The cemetery was saved from being bulldozed into oblivion because Trinston, Sr. chanced to be present at the spot when a thicket was being cleared soon after he bought the land from Mr. Bushman in 1949, and he instructed the dozer operator to leave it untouched.
Mr. Harris estimates, from knowledge of the previous land ownership, the cemetery was used about 1865 - 1900. A descendant sent him information about the family and a description of the family burial ground. She said there was only one tree there, a cedar, and it had a large gopher hole at the foot of it. Mr. Harris says the cedar and the gopher hold are still there.
