Grandview Flats Cemetery is located on South Grandview Flats Road in Armstrong / Spallumcheen, British Columbia.
Latitude: 50o 23' 52.30" N.
Longitude: 119o 29' 29.74" W.
Layout
The cemetery is approximately an acre in size and well maintained. There is a new chainlink fence, donated by Dr. Richard Poirer in 2000, surrounding the cemetery. The cemetery has over 100 graves laid out east/west.
This is a small graveyard, with the majority of the monuments simple blocks made of marble and granite, a few are bronze.
In addition, some of the graves are not marked with a regular grave stone. They were buried without a marker, and now have a cement block with a plaque bearing the internments name. There are a few stones that are unreadable. There are some unknown internments also.
With the help of Mrs Hedwig Toombs, we have been able to piece together some of the unknown information. We will continue to work on this until we are satisfied that we can do no more
