Clevenger aka John Weslie Stiltner aka Stiltner Cemetery is now known as Stiltner Memorial Cemetery.
The late John Weslie Stiltner, prominent early citizen of Morton, dedicated an acre of his land holding as a cemetery for Stiltner families and their relatives in 1924. Also allowed to be buried there, were the poor who could not afford to be buried in the public cemetery. The cemetery is situated on the hill at the northeast limits of the Town of Morton.
This burial list was transcribed October 2002, by Marjie Lloyd, Donna & George Gomer. This transcription is used along with the previous list prepared by the Lewis County Historical Society Committee several years ago. Submitted by Leslie Parnell on behalf of the Lewis County Genealogy Society, December, 2002. Special thanks to the Lewis County Genealogical Society for graciously sharing their data.
