*Killam Cemetery is located South Palmyra township in a timbered area in Section 15. It is probably about a mile through the fields west of the Thursby home. Part of the way has to be walked. A road used to come into the cemetery from the south but it has been closed for many years.

This cemetery was laid out in 1840 by Samuel Killam. In 1880 his heirs sold the farm with the exception of the cemetery which is listed and described on the deed. Oldest grave found was listed on the deed records made by the WPA in 1938. It was that of Joseph Dickson in 1842. This was listed again in 1979, but the stone of Joseph was unable to be found.
