County to Rename Paupers' Cemetery
aka Asylum Cemetery
At the closing ceremonies for Eau Claire County's 150th Birthday, although this site did not have an official name, "Pauper's Cemetery", the Board decreed at Tuesday's meeting (12-4-2007) that it would be renamed The Eau Claire County Old Orchard Cemetery.
