Location: 75 ft east of Elwood Ave. at telephone pole # 271. In Roger Williams Park between Casino and street.

Cenotaph to Roger Williams
75ft x 75ft in good condition enclosed with a metal fence
According to the "Rhode Island Genealogical Dictionary" by Austin 1885:
"...He and his wife, and many descendants, were buried on his homestead farm; the graveyard now within the limits of Roger Williams Park, Providence."
Roger Williams himself was originally interred on this property, and there is a monument to him located here, but his actual remains were removed and re-interred in the base of The Roger Williams Memorial[PV017].
This cemetery has been recorded and checked.
