Located on the east side of North Main Street, just inside the Perimeter Highway, with its northern boundary aligning with the boundary between Winnipeg and the RM of West Paul
A network of roadways provides vehicular access to the grounds.
NOTE: The cemetery is open only from April 1 to October 31

Originally set up by and associated with the congregation of one of Winnipeg's first synagogues in the 1890s.
A large, semi-circular plaque lists the names of the people buried here.

In the former neighbourhood of Old Kildonan, now part of the Rivergrove neighbourhood in what is now Greater Winnipeg formed as the result of the amalgamation of 22 former municipal bodies in 1972
Additionally, the non-profit Jewish Heritage Centre of Western Canada centralizes, curates and makes available extensive records from various groups related to the communities established by the families of their faith who contributed to the story of Western Canada.
