The first known survey of this active cemetery was done by Dr. Allan E. Marble on June 8, 1968. Per his usual custom, he did not give the cemetery a name but assigned it an identifying number, in this case 68. Although he did not specifically name it, he did note that it was a Roman Catholic cemetery. He cited the location correctly as Annapolis Royal.



At a later date, Genweb volunteers transcribed his original survey notes and made them available online at Rootsweb. At that time, the volunteers named it "St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery" and cited Dr. Marble's correct location, Annapolis Royal.



DIRECTIONS: The cemetery is located on the north side of St. Anthony Street, across from Civic #132 (Home Hardware). The entrance is through an arched wrought iron gate.
