East Marsh River Church is located northwest of Ada, MN, at a location called Anthony. The church is in the NW 1/4 of Section 28, with the cemetery across the road in NE 1/4 of Section 29. A 2 acre plot was obtained from Lewis Jacobson in 1880. The land for the church was given by Halvor Helgeson, and the church was built in 1896.

A memorial stone with the names of those buried at West Petri Cemetery, ½ NW of East Marsh River Cemetery. West Petri Cemetery is abandoned and susceptible to flooding so a permanent record of the burials there was created.
