Driving directions: From the Village of Rural Valley, Armstrong County, PA, at the intersection of Pennsylvania State Route 85 and Water Street, drive west on Route 85 for 1.46 miles to the intersection of 85 and Little Rock Road. At this intersection turn right onto Little Rock Road and drive for 2.24 miles to the Pleasant Union Lutheran Church and Cemetery. There are several intersections here and it will be easy to select the wrong one. Therefore, follow this advice: Pull up to the Pleasant Union Church and the Church Sign and building should be just outside your Drivers side window, on your left side. You are on the correct road now. From this church, continue on this road (Still Little Rock Road, but there are no road signs.) and drive for 1.63 miles, making no turns, into the village of Echo. You will know you are in Echo when you cross the railroad tracks and bridge. After you cross the bridge, drive to the stop sign, crossroads, intersection, 200 yards from the bridge. At this intersection, drive straight across the cross roads and up the steep hill for a distance of about one half, to one mile. As you near the top of the hill, there will be a White House on the Left and a Large Barn on the right. The Barn will have a sign near the crown of the roof that says: "C. White, est. 1889" The lane beside this barn is the entrance to the cemetery. Turn right and drive to the Aluminum gate beside the barn; open the gate and drive thru; close the gate behind you and proceed, about 200 yards, to the cemetery, driving along the fence line. Open the Cemetery gate and pull in and close the gate. Do not park in the Farmer's field.
