Blooming Glen Mennonite Church was established by 1767 as there are two grave markers in the cemetery with this date. During the 1800's, Blooming Glen was sometimes referred to as "Perkasie". This should not be confused with the current Perkasie Mennonite Cemetery which was not established until 1950. Any references to burials in Perkasie Mennonite Cemetery during the 1800's mean Blooming Glen Mennonite.
