Lot 17, Concession 4 SDS (South of Dundas Street), Trafalgar Township

The land for St Jude's Cemetery, located at Lakeshore Road and Dorval Drive, was purchased in the mid 1800s for both a rectory and a cemetery. In 1883, the rectory and the church were relocated to the corner of Dunn and William streets.

An addition was made to the cemetery in 1927, expanding it to 13 acres.

The maintenance and sale of plots was transferred to the Town of Oakville in 1979. Beginning in 2009, a heritage professional contracted by the town conducted a monument condition survey within the town's pioneer cemeteries. Since the survey, hundreds of markers and headstones have been restored, including at St Jude's Cemetery where the work is now complete.
