From I-35 at Georgetown take Highway 29 West to Wolf Ranch Parkway. Turn right or north on Wolf Ranch Parkway and turn right at the next intersection (Memorial Drive). The cemetery will be on your right a few hundred yards from the intersection.
Established in 1906
In 1906 the cemetery was willed by the city of Georgetown to the black community for as long as they could maintain it. Hispanics were allowed to be buried in the cemetery, but they were buried in one end, which was at one time separated from the black section by a barbed-wire fence. The Masons maintained the cemetery from 1906 until 1980, when they gave the Citizens Memorial Association permission to take on the responsibility of upkeep.
