AKA THE METHODIST EPISCOPAL CEMETERY
*PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST PICTURES OF STONES, THERE ARE NONE.
This cemetery is on the site of an Old Quaker Meeting House and Burial Ground. By 1713 the Quaker Burial Ground was being used adjacent to the Quaker Meeting House. These grounds have NOT been used as a place of interment for many years. The property changed ownership and became the property of The Methodist Episcopal Church. In the early 1900's some of the graves were removed by the Quakers, however not all of them were. In 1917 Freeman Worth Gardner copied the inscriptions from the stones that remained. In May 2011 these remains are beneath the Woodbridge United Methodist Church and parking lot.
