Beaumont Cemetery is located on Graveyard Hill Road, also known as SR 2002, in Monroe Township, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania. The land was donated by Abigail Carpenter after the original burying ground in the area proved to be too wet. Those bodies were moved to the new cemetery. The old burying ground was located on land later used to build the Beaumont High School (now the Monroe Township Community Building). Around 1910, bodies from the Parks Cemetery, a small family burying plot, wee also moved to the Beaumont Cemetery. The Parks plot was located on what is now called Nesbitt Road, in Monroe Township. Alternate names sometimes used in obituaries and genealogical records were Hillside Cemetery and Monroe Cemetery.
