Symmes Township, Hamilton County, Ohio.
It is one of the most historic spots in Little Miami River Valley. The entire site of the village before the Civil War comprised of 160 acres owned by Nimrod Price. It was selected by General Scott at the location of an army hospital and at the outbreak of the Rebellion its survey as a military camp was done under the supervision of General Rosecrans.

The Symmes Township maintenance department handles the cemetery. The department office is next door to the Union Cemetery at 9323 Union Cemetery Road, Symmes Township, Ohio 45140. The open entrance to the cemetery is at 10128 - 10132 Lincoln Road.
