A one acre lot was set aside in 1770 for the original cemetery in the town of Northampton. Grading of 21st Street covered or destroyed most of the early tombstones. Only two stones remain.
The Mennonite (not like the Mennonite from Berks and Lancaster Co.s, built a small church in Allen Twsp. A second small Mennonite cemetery was built behind the church.
The church was sold twice and became a house. A neighbor and the owner of the house cut the grass in the cemetery which is in or next to his backyard.
