Nulph Cemetery was established in 1881, registered in 1897, and used until about 1934. It was located in Danton Township on the Charles A. Nulph farm. Today it is located near 159th Ave. SE, between 83rd and 84th Sts. SE. Some graves were moved from Nulph to Elk Creek Cemetery near Wyndmere when the church was moved and that cemetery was established, but many still remain. Nulph fell into disrepair until 1964 when local townspeople restored it, erected a fence, and repaired some of the broken monuments. To get to the cemetery, walk East through a pasture (or corn field) and up a hill to a flat area overlooking the Wild Rice River bottom. It is marked by a large fir tree still standing in the middle.
