Ada Cornwell was the daughter of Claude R. and Inez M. (Harris) Cornwell. She grew up and attended school in the Big Thompson area of Colorado and then moved to Grover, Weld Co. and graduated from West Pawnee High School. She married Vernon Zink (my uncle) in Greeley on Dec. 1, 1928. They farmed the Venable Place west of Grover until 1958 when they moved to Hereford, Co. and eventually retired in Greeley, Co. She was a member of the Hereford Community Church. Her three daughters have since passed away: Barbara Joy (Zink) Hauer, Beverly Joan (Zink) Mitchell, and Sharon Ann (Zink) Mullins and are buried in Grover. She had two sisters living at her death.
Her husband, Vernon Zink, passed away, one day after her death and they were buried in a service together.
