Obituary:
Thomas Eli "Tom" Philp, 63, of Cebu City, Philippines, formerly of Fort Collins, died Monday, April 26, 199, of a heart attack.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Grover Cemetery. W. Donald Fike will officiate.
Thomas Philp was born Dec. 7, 1935 in Burns, Wyoming to C. Vern Philp and Florence (Zink) Philp.
He graduated from Grover High School and received a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University. While attending CSU, he worked for Mr. Forny, keeping his classic cars running and in good condition.
He served as a jet mechanic in the U.S. Navy.
He married (1) Ann Elizabeth Rowe of Albuquerque, N.M. and 2) Lora Daniels, both surviving. He is also survived by his mother, Florence Philp; a son, Duncan Philp of Fort Collins, CO; and three sisters, Sally Watkinson of Fort Collins, CO, Sylvia Ferris of Denver, and Nareen Lake of Guymon, OK.
He is preceeded in death by his father, Charles Verne Philp; a brother, Charles Verne Philp, Jr., and a sister, Nancy Bond.
