I have a question how the dates were gathered for Jane McLarnon Howie. The birth date of Dec. 20, 1872 is similar to the birth date I have for Jane McLarnon, wife of Henry Brown Howie. However, I thought she died in 1947. The death date given here is May 16, 1962, which sounds like it might be their daughter, also named Jane McLarnon Howie, but the daughter was born in 1899. I know it's possible, but I am just throwing the question out. Even when the elder Janie's death date was given as 1947, it is about fifty years after the death of her sister, Margaret Ann (Maggie), who was Henry Brown Howie's first wife.
