Cypress Grove

Rosalie committed suicide in the home of her brother-in-law, ex-corporal Kosman Morgan, at 1524 Elysian Fields Avenue, due to rumors about her. See April 28th (1907) Times Picayune article concerning this. She drank a vial of carbolic acid and left a farewell note stating "...I know every one spoke of me, but I am pure as an angel. I could not live any longer. Forgive me, mama. Good-by to all. Send me home." Per the article "her reference to sending her body home meant that she wanted her remains sent to Milneburg, and last night relatives had an undertaken convey her to the lakeside resort."

Ann Talbot Roberts has not added any memorials to this virtual cemetery.
