Descendants of Joshua Pepper, the first in this Pepper line who settled in Delaware and died in Georgetown, Sussex Co. This progenitor is buried in the Old Pepper Cemetery now the Joshua Pepper Memorial Cemetery, Kimmey St., Georgetown, DE. The cemetery was a gift of Thomas B Pepper of Georgetown, De on 29 July 1960 to the Joshua Pepper Memorial Cemetery, Inc. He was a Revolutionary War soldier in Captain Handy's Co., Snow Hill, Maryland, Battalion of Militia.
