On December 14, 2012, a gunman entered the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown Conneticut and murdered 26 people before taking his own life. Twenty of those people were small children, students at the school.The others were teachers and aides including the principal. Prior to coming to the school the killer had murdered his mother. This virtual cemetery is placed in memory of those innocent young children and the adults who tried to protect them.
