I am creating family history for my father's family (Petokas), my mother's family (Mitchell/Hayes), my father-in-laws family (Archer/Sabo), and my mother-in-laws family (Russell). I am visiting family cemeteries to document grave locations, birth and death dates, military service, and interfamily relationships. I am working with historical societies, and local, state, and federal agencies to locate documents, information on births, deaths, and events related to these families. My current focus is on my father's family (Petokas) which is centered in the Forest City, Susquehanna County, PA, area., and my mother's family (Mitchell/Hayes) which is centered on the Torrington, Litchfield County, CT, area. I live in Wyoming County, PA, and am willing to visit cemeteries in Wyoming and Susquehanna counties to assist in the location of graves, and I have access to the grave directory for the Forest City, PA area.
