I got the ancestry bug from my Mother
Back in the 1970's she and her cousin hired a genealogist to research our ancestry in England
The result was a book about 3 inches thick
My Cousin went to Sweden with my Aunt to do some Research in the 80's and I did some Ellis Island Research and Netherlands Registry Research
I'm not professional and still digging up new family history
Recently ran across this site when locating headstones in MN ...I ran across a picture of my Grandfather tagged with the grave stone ..but also saw mis information about my Grandmother's middle name ..spelled wrong and actually her maiden last name ..so I joined to reach out to edit some mis information for generations to come after us
I am only interested in managing my own family at this point as I am very new to this site
Thank you and I appreciate your support getting me started
