My dad's family has existed way back in Floyd County Virginia and area. His mother was a Reed. I know hearing relations to Akers. Duncans and more. As a kid learned not English but German heritage Rhine River and known name was Bischoff. I am trying to do some research as heard from my cousin of a Bishop Grave dad never mentioned. Closest generations buried in Pleasant Valley. His mother taught school at Alum Ridge. Want to learn what this Bishop cemetery is/was, and as Nancy Mayo made post of ancestor named Hans Bischoff.
