Bio

Hi! We are a married couple with 3 grown children. I am from the beautiful state of Michigan and my husband is from New Zealand (which is also very beautiful - LOL).

I originally came to Find-A-Grave to research headstones of family members and quickly saw that there was a need for photos of headstones for family/friends who don't live close to their loved ones. I have a heart condition so exercise, while difficult, is very important. This is something my husband and I can do together - getting some fresh air, helping people, exercise, and time together.

The family names I am researching on my Mom's side are: Horvath, Molnar, Jarred, Cushing, McNish, Langenbacher, Breisch, Gauss, and Needham.
On my Dad's side: Jack, Heino, Erickson, Clarke, and Gustfason.

Please have the respect to honor a "claim" that someone has made on a photo request.
Someone has scheduled the time to go out and take the photos. It is important to them to volunteer their time to get these photos. Please honor their claim.
We recently went to fulfill 20+ requests (that we had claimed) at the National Cemetery, only to come home, ready to load them onto the memorials, instead founding that someone else had swooped in and posted their pictures instead. It was a waste of our time and was very rude and disrespectful!
