I am from the Big Hill/Todd area of Watauga County, NC. My kinfolk have inhabited those old Appalachian Mountains for 200 years. Besides the Moretz's and the Jones's, I am closely related to the Norris's, Winebargers, Coffeys, Potters, and Simmons. But I figure most local folks are probably a cousin of mine!
