Im a "Skook" in PA. (From Schuylkill County) but my lineage is more complicated. Lol

My mother is from Macedonia. I was lucky enough to have met & spent time with my great grandparents there.
My paternal family are mostly Skooks. Dad grew up in Dark Water which is no more (mined).

I like to visit local cemeteries. Its our history! I try to find graves that are missing.
Some have been buried, moved, broken, illegible from age, etc. So far the worst I found was a very large headstone removed from the cemetery completely and thrown over a stone wall. Its hanging on the edge of a cliff. Disrespectful and mostly sad. I very carefully took many pics for "Elizabeth". She can rest now.
