Resident of Waldo, Maine. Always loved cemeteries and the historical footprint they embody and the sense of peaceful reality felt when visiting. A founder of Waldo's citizen volunteer cemetery committee, I am particularly interested in learning Waldo history through its' past residents buried there, and documenting all veterans buried in Waldo's five town maintained cemeteries: Shorey, Hadley, Paul, Roberts and Evans Corner. This committee is working on the goals of documentation, stabilization and cleaning of stones in our oldest cemeteries. I will be adding information for Waldo cemeteries t this site over the next year (2023)

I am happy to provide photos of stones in our five cemeteries listed above although it might be rough to do that in winter. It's payback and pay it forward for the many volunteers who have documented my own ancestors graves far and wide.
