Hi Everyone!

My name is Lauren. I'm originally from Dover in the UK, but I've been living in Brittany France since 2006.

I've been addicted to genealogy for quite some time now and it's become a passion to track down as many of my ancestors as I possibly can.

I first started my journey to try track down my long lost great grandmother Mable Elsie Merritt. She was born in Holborn Middlesex in London on the 4th of May 1918. Her parents were James Merritt and Mabel Alice Howard. She married my great grandfather John Laird in Barnet, Middlesex in November 1937. She was at some point a member of the HMS Herons. The family story is that she was sent to an asylum in London... and she's still a mystery!
