Hello,

We're just trying to find out more about our families and their histories, as well as learning about the loved ones that have passed before us, whether we had the chance to meet them or not.

A Little Bit About Us:

Caeden "Cade" is from Latrobe, PA and is a 2020 graduate of Greater Latrobe High School. Not sure where Latrobe is? The Donald Trump house, Westmoreland County Airshow, famous golfer Arnold Palmer, and Fred Rogers call this place home. He's always had an interest for American history in school, and that transferred to family history once finding out about the "Find a Grave" website. It has been a way for him to trace back his roots on both sides of his family, and the discoveries have been nothing short of unbelievable. His hobbies include going to bonfires, watching wrestling (specifically AEW and WWE), and going for long rides in his Ram truck while blasting country music (either Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, George Strait or Jason Aldean).

Brittany "Britt" is from Somerset, PA and is a 2017 graduate of Somerset Area High School. Unfamiliar with where it is? She's about an hour away from Pittsburgh, 1 mile from the Quecreek Mine Rescue Site, and 10 miles from the US Flight 93 National Memorial from September 11, 2001. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown in 2021. Her love for American history in school only made wanting to use "Find a Grave" to find out more about where she came from even more obvious. Her hobbies include listening to music (Luke Bryan, Kane Brown, and Morgan Wallen), writing poetry, watching hockey (Pittsburgh Penguins), and drinking coffee (mainly Starbucks, Dunkin', Sheetz and McDonalds).

Our research is mainly involving the names of Banner, Dayok, Gaskill, Hafer, Johnstone, Knapp, McGuire, Piper, Saylor, Shaulis, Schmucker, and Tranquilla.
