Bio

A year after graduation from high school, I joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served three years. I then returned home and was married. We had two sons. The oldest son was a truck driver owner/operator for over 30 years and then entered the ministry and is the Methodist minister in Evansville and and Edgerton, WI. His wife was a teacher and decided to go to the seminary and become a minister. She is the current Methodist minister in Beloit, WI. Our youngest son is a very successful food broker in Tampa, FL. I lost my wife to a massive stroke last year, just short of our 58th anniversary. Shortly after the Marine Corps, I was appointed as a Deputy Sheriff in Rock County, WI and retired after 32 years with the rank of Lieutenant. I have been retired for 29 years and most of that time I have been active in wood carving and genealogy.
