Her mother, Monica Velta Bowers was from Riga, Latvia and her maiden last name was either Rencis or Kuznecova. I am not positive at this time as she was married for a brief time to someone who died in World War II before marrying my grandfather, William John Bowers, Jr. who was from the United States.
