Bio

Charles Keith Futty, born September 18, 1957 in Havre de Grace, Maryland. My parents were Charles Elwood Futty Jr. and Shirley Marie Neidlein-Futty. I have one younger sibling(3 yrs.) Jeffery Scott Futty of Concord, Virginia. I have been doing my families genealogy since March 2020.
Mostly Neidleins, Bowmans and Cullums here in Perryman, Swan Creek, Havre de Grace and Aberdeen, Harford County, Maryland.
When my mother passed away in February of 2020, at the age of 80, I found all of this research she had done for 50 some years, with some not finished. I had no idea. Family photos from the late 1890's and early 1900's which included about 100 pictures, death certificates, marriage license, resumes, documents, etc. all original. I decided as a tribute to her I would try to finish it as far back as I could. So I visited local grave yards and photographed as many markers as I could, and even hand made markers for a few. My wife Sarah said I went a little overboard but I felt they needed to be remembered, everyone should have a marker. It was kind of like an addiction after I got started. I even acid washed and cleaned all of their markers. I can still remember some of my great uncles and aunts from the 1960's. I have since passed along all of these documents and photos to my cousins so they can share it with their families for generations to come. Find A Grave has been a wonderful tool for doing research and to memorialize my late relatives. As we all know we don't live forever, so if you see any Memorials I have created and you are related and you would like them transferred please let me know. Thanks for all the memories!!
