My line of Broughton is his Son John Broughton (1653-1731), his son Samuel Broughton (1683-1749), his son John Broughton (1717- 1777) who died in the American Revolutionary War, his son Michael Broughton (1763-1815) who also fought in the American Revolutionary War, his son Zephon Broughton (1791-1856) who fought in the War of 1812, his son Jonah Richards Broughton (1815-1878) who fought in the American Civil War, his son Samuel Kellogg Broughton (1847-1916), his son Oren Oliver Broughton (1872-1947), his son Samuel Kellogg Broughton (1899-1960) who fought in WW1, his son, my father Francis Leroy Broughton (1936-1973).

I am also a Direct Descendent of Mayflower immigrants John Howland, Elizabeth Tilly, John Tilly, Francis Cooke, Joan Hurst and Hester Cooke.

I am a cousin to numerous US Presidents.
