I BEGAN researching with my Mother on our family genealogy, over thirty ago.
Our first pioneer ancestor came to St. Clair county , Illinois from Virginia in 1804
Our German ancestors started arriving in Illinois in 1840s (Adam,St. Clair and Woodford counties)
Other states I'm researching are MA , CT, VA, NC, SC, GA, AND FL
Favorite places to do research are Illinois State Archives, local public Libraries and DAR Library
I have a life membership in St. Clair county gen.soc.

Learning to use new tools on GENEALOGICAL websites
ULTIMATE GOAL is to have at least three verified sources for each Ancestor.
