Very interested in finding/ learning about my family. Not familiar at all with my paternal grandmothers side. Her Name was Sheila Pearl Powers the records that I have found indicate her fathers name was Sidney Powers, his father was James Poorhorse from the Ponca, OK area in the late 1800s. It shows that James Poorhorse had several children (Sidney Powers being my grandfather) with Ella Crookedhand. Very difficult finding any answers as I do not have anyone to compare information with.
