The most interesting project that I have ever worked on is building my Family Tree. I began a few years ago just researching my families Surnames on the internet since I couldn't afford to subscribe to any of the well-known family tree web sites. When I could finally become a member to Ancestry.com I Went just Ape wild. Then I found other web sites that didn't cost and I learned awhile more. Who would ever believe that anyone had SOOO Many Great Grandmother's, I think I found my 13th great great Grandmother on my mom's dad's side of their family in there somewhere. And she had Nobility like Royalty and was a Dutchess, an heiress' probly only child. I Love this stuff. I may not have lots of old photos to share, but I've been finding lots of Cousins I never thought I had with lots of family stories to tell.
