I'm researching all sides of my family tree. Areas of interest: My McCoy history. JB McCoy (1848) married Ellen E Ashby (1853). Their daughter Willie McCoy my great, great grandmother married HA Chapman (1865). Died after her second child (J. Grady Chapman, my great grandfather) was born in 1895. His father remarried. A fire burned their house & everything in it. My great grandfather never saw a picture of his mother. I'm hoping by some miracle someone might have a picture of her.
I am also keen to find out more information regarding my great grandmother's father, John Henry Hill (1880). He was in Shelby County, Tennessee and also died young. I haven't been able to find where he is buried but I suspect it's Potters Field, in Shelby County. He and his wife, Ada Blanche Prichard, had three children. Their daughter Callie Inez passed away at the age of 1, just a year before his death. Their son, Ernest Lamar Hill, passed away in 1943. My great grandmother, Irene Hill Dykman, lived until 1989.
