Having to redo my family tree research due to some tragic events in my life. A lot of personal things lost, including all my family history research. I am : Half Polish & Ashkenazi Jewish. On the other side : African, Jamaican, German Quaker (Society of Friends), with the possibility of a little French & Irish. The main names in the trees I'm searching are: SIDE ONE:: Mazurkiewicz /Mazur ~ Podsiad ~ Franc ~ Kuzia. SIDE TWO:: Painter/Bender ~ Bennett ~ Gibbons ~ Fagan. I am a descendant of a Polish Count, of Farmers.... of Rescuers on the Underground Railroad, of Three Rescued Slaves/one Recaptured & not found again & to my horror, one slave owner.... of Shipyard owners & Ship's Captains, of many Union & 2 Confederate Soldiers.... of POWs & at least one MIA.... Also among my relatives are: Writers, Poets, Mathmeticians, Musicians, Botanists, Presidents..... People I'm proud to be related to & people I'm not.
