Started climbing in my own family tree over a decade ago, and am always searching for more information on them ~ Browne, Cleveland, Ballard, Mills.

I started researching random families a few years ago. I will do research based on things that peak my curiosity - like a child's grave with no name or link to family, records of multiple closely timed deaths in the same family, large families, victims of crime or disasters, and odd stories from probate records or newspapers.

I have started several virtual cemeteries for families I've researched, but they are a work in progress. and several are not yet public. I'm always willing to chat, and eager to collaborate, so feel free to reach out. :)

Most Interesting:

The Richard Jessup Affair: Weird probate story of an apparent illegitimate son, whom had been placed by his unmarried white parents to be raised by an African American family. He won his case ... but was it all a scam?

Miller/Churchill Family: Family who raised the above ^Richard Jessup. Includes several members who came to California after their freedom from slavery.

O'Hare Family: Lost 5 children within a week, only surviving son died a couple years later. Father was fatally electrocuted in a boating accident. Mother remarried, lost a child of this marriage, and finally had two children who would survive her.

Moke/Reid Family: Three victims in Santa Rosa - 1906 Earthquake. Surviving husband/father, H. Moke, then remarried into the Harlow family.

Harlow Family: Part of my "Large Broods" research. They had 17 children! A lot of interesting history within their story.

The Other Harlows: While researching the super brood Harlow family^ I found another Harlow family. They lived in Wisconsin, and several had been buried in their family cemetery located on their property. Related to Edgar Allan Poe, and actress Jean Harlow.

The Thadeus Davis Family: Pioneer family New York to Canada. Found them while researching my Dad's friend, Kenny Davis.

Olive Scully: The story of my own relative who led a tragic life, and died in 1908 while awaiting a 2nd trial for murder (1st was mistrial).
