Please don't think this morbid, but I've always been fascinated with cemeteries--or rather, with reading headstones. They are often very enlightening as to the character of the people they memorialize. Before we moved a thousand miles from home, there was one cemetery in particular that I loved to visit. A dear friend's mother was buried there. I would go to her grave, sit down on the grass, and talk to her. She couldn't hear me, and she never answered, but the one-way chat was therapeutic, a way to sort out my thoughts and emotions. I miss getting to do that.
