Hi! Well, I'm definitely not a Grave Whisperer and/or searcher. Actually, It's rather ironic how I stumbled onto Find a Grave. Since doing so I've created 3 personal memorials and begun managing another, which freaks me out. What happens when the memorial mgr. dies? LOL . I'm also currently suggesting memorial edits/additional info to connect the dots on other family members and friends. I feel the more info on these memorials the better. Not everyone shares the same info or has all the facts, so if more people input it just makes it much more easier for family and friends to locate their loved ones. On a personal note, if you should visit any memorials with the name Charles, William, Silas, Bernard etc. Bent [ Nova Scotia/MA ], Tambini , Kirchman, Winterton [Florida mainly] or Janda's... I am somehow related. In fact, you may have heard of Charles and William Bent? They are, my paternal ancestors. Charles was the territory Governor of Taos, NM and he, along with his brother William established Bent's Fort. Navy LT, Silas Bent III is also of relation. In fact, the USNS AGS-26 Silas Bent has been named in his honor. I've also learned that Charles Bent's sister Lucy married into the Russell family and is grandmother of Charles Marion Russell, '' The Cowboy Artist ". I'm also linked to Kit Carson through marriage. Charles's wife's younger sister went on to marry Kit. So I definitely have some interesting bloodline, both maternal and paternal and I'm proud of it! A whole lot of cool history and military going on!
