Bio

For the past five years, I have been focused on tracking my King ancestors and the allied families. If a line was ever lost, it was these folks. But happily, they are coming forward and presenting themselves.
The family held the King Reunion in 2016. It was the first known time in over 150 years that the family had gathered. The reunion was held in Stanford, Lincoln County, Kentucky. Descendants from Florida, Massachusetts, Missouri, New York, Texas, Indiana, California, and of course, Kentucky attended. It was a great time and it sparked a real interest in me to learn about "my kin".
Here's to successful digging!!
In 2022, I am focusing on my paternal side of the tree. Williamson, McClary, Chitwood, McKee, McGee, Thurlo, Haskell, Roberts, Fleener and others.
Thank you to the contributors who spearheaded the effort of gathering all of these records and photographing the gravestones.
Regarding the photos I post, please review the photo description for more information. Many are being shared courtesy of my kin. Some have been professionally restored. Contact me with questions.
