Every person has a right to their beliefs. I am an atheist who does not believe in Heaven or Hell or that a person has a soul. I believe that once your gone that's it. It doesn't mean however that loved ones and friends who have passed on should be forgotten. Every person has a different approach to life and death but the one thing we have in common is we memorialise them. I feel sad when I see graves that are neglected and long forgotten. Everyone has the right to honour the life of a loved one in the way they choose to help families observe traditions and ceremonies that are important to them.
