I am a descendant of Cope and Arnold's on my paternal side. They were out of SW Virginia Wise County and Rogersville, Hawkins County, Tennessee.
On my maternal side, I am a descendant of Lackey and Wade's. They were from Talladega County , Alabama.
My parents were born and raised in Harlan County, Kentucky. Specifically, the coal camps of Benham (father) and Lynch (mother). Both their families came to the area seeking work in the coal industry.
